This is a solo deck featuring Grimbeorn the Old, the all-inclusive attacker and defender. By powering up his stats just a little, he can dispose of most enemies without any help! Getting to 4 allows Grimbeorn to dispose of a vast majority of enemies. With Unexpected Courage, Grimbeorn can defend and use his ability multiple times (provided he has the resources). Elf-friend goes on Grimbeorn so Arwen may put the extra resource on him for just this occasion. Also important to note, Grimbeorn's ability does not count against the limit of 1 framework attack per enemy, so with readying present, Grimbeorn could swing at an enemy twice in a single round! Beorn's Rage is really effective on the larger/tougher enemies as the effect lasts until the end of the round. With readying Grimbeorn can put on some major damage in a single round.

Bard son of Brand allows us to get the off class attachments onto Grimbeorn, such as Cram, Lembas, or Hauberk of Mail. He also allows for a turn 1 Raiment of War, which is important for getting Grimbeorn up to that critical 4 /4 value. The attachment line-up uses a toolbox approach so there are many 2x (or even 1x) as none are particularly more important than others. Generally, look for ways to increase Grimbeorn's stats first, after that it comes down to finding ways to allow him extra readies or healing (if he begins taking damage).

The spirit side is a pretty standard affair, a bunch of allies, threat reduction, a bit of location control and/or high . Elven-light fuels card draw/resource acceleration. Rhovanion Outrider are good to get out early, as they can drop in a single turn with Arwen's extra resource. On turns where locations are under control, they (plus the Northern Tracker's) are valuable for their solid 2 .

Opening Hand:

Look for Raiment of War or Captain of Gondor to buff up Grimbeorn's stats. Other than that, a general line up of allies to increase questing power and/or an elven-light to fuel card draw are good things to see early.
