This deck is an excuse to exploit Elfhelm's Steed buff.
An ideal first hand includes Windfola and/or Snowmane. Éowyn with her horse has 6 before discarding. The Snowmane enables Théoden to quest, potentially defend, or attack.
This deck has some card draw with Elven-light, Valiant Sacrifice, Prepare for Battle, and Ancient Mathom.
The purpose of Steed of the Mark is to grant Elfhelm +1 and open him up as a quester to spend his resources which can otherwise build up.
I am considering increasing the number of weapons (Gúthwinëand Herugrim) for Théoden, but I am unsure what to cut.
Likewise, how good is Astonishing Speed? Should it be cut for additional card draw? Or perhaps for Unexpected Courage?
This deck is untested. I am very interested in some feedback.
