This is a thematic deck for the narrative campaign Agents of the White Council, designed to go up against the quest Return to Mirkwood. This quest will be the primary guardian of Gollum in that quest, and will use a number of threat-reducing effects to prevent itself from threating out due to Gollum's effect.
The primary mechanic with be Elfhelm, brought into play via an Elf-stone. Those cards are the targets for the copy of Gather Information that Thurindir will start the game with, as well as the second copy of that side quest in the companion deck.
This deck is also the deck that aims to engage all the enemies. Defense will be handled either by Aragorn, boosted by Protector of Lórien and A Burning Brand, or by sentinel defense from Eleanor in the other deck, once Arwen Undómiel has started targeting her. Other emergency options include Dunedain Lookout and Snowbourn Scout for chump blocking.
Attack power will come via the East Road Ranger and Lanwyn, supplemented at need by Aragorn or Ranger of Cardolan.
