A song deck for the reddit weekly quest #4 Hunt for Gollum. This deck was able to beat nightmare as well.

The reddit quest had the optional cards of Bilbo Baggins and Strider's Path. Mostly, I discarded Strider's path to Daeron's Runes.

Strategy for nightmare:

Mulligan for Love of Tales, Master of the Forge, or Asfaloth. Use Master of the Forge to get the second copy of Love of Tales as soon as possible for resource acceleration. Legacy of NĂºmenor is included in case you need extra resources in a pinch early game (e.g. if you need Gandalf to take out an enemy).

Use Asfaloth to take out the nasty location Watched Path, a location which prevents card draw from card effects. Trigger Asfaloth once before the refresh phase and then again during the refresh phase to get rid of this location in one round and still be able to use Bilbo's passive ability.

Beravorgets Unexpected Courageto attack/defend and get card draw every turn.

During the first quest card, try and stall until you have a stable board state with Light of Valinor, Asfaloth, Fireside Song, and a couple allies in case you need to chump. The deck can handle taking 0-2 threat due to failed questing for a few turns if needed. (Also, don't use Elrond's Counsel until you feel safe to move on to 2B which has a mandatory extra encounter card each turn).

The biggest weakness of this deck is the ability to handle combat, which is why I included Feint, Vassal of the Windlord for attacking, and Core Gandalf for bombing.

As soon as Bilbo has Fireside Song and you have 1 clue, the quest will pretty much be over.
