straight foreward monotakticdeck. squeeze out as much you can get from Need Brooks No Delay mulligan hard for that card. then with Háma get it back play it every turn (4 times).

if you want to play it with https://ringsdb.com/decklist/view/20626/rohaniscoming-1.0 as fellowship, take Herubrand instead of eowyn.

You could play Need Brooks No Delay a total of 9 times

yea with luck. carddraw is not soo much. only Foe-hammer and Legolas

the more brooks, the better. but, to get 1 and play 4 with hama have relatevely good probability.

Need Brooks No Delay definitely makes Hama a hero worth considering again. The main issue I see here is that in order for him to use his ability he needs to attack, but in order to do that you need to defend first, and there are very few defensive options in the deck.

I see Golden Shield and Gondorian Shield presumably for Théoden, but with Golden Shield just a 1x it's going to be tough to get him powered up. And even still it just puts him at 5 , which isn't great when you've got no healing access. Until the contract comes online (getting him up to 7 with the shield) he cannot withstand bigger enemies until the contract comes online.

I'd suggest making room for 3x Golden Shield and 3 Open the Armory to make Theoden into a more reliable turn 1 defender.

Secondly, I think you are going to run out of cards quickly. Apart from Legolas, the only way to draw cards is the 2-card combo of Foe-hammer. That might be enough for a standard tactics deck, but not one that is discarding a card every round to Hama. So I'd suggest bumping up Legolas to 3x.

Some of the weaker cards in the deck I think are Raiment of War, Golden Belt, Sword-thain, Elfhelm

yea this can be optimzed. Magic Ring for theoden is also a good option.

for defending, dont forget the Feint

i only want to show how fency and op Need Brooks No Delay could become. ;)

You could probably abuse it more if you drop the Book of Eldacar and brought in another sphere. The Book does not seem useful in early game, since you don't want to trigger it until you find a second copy of Brooks or until Hama is all used up. Maybe Hama/Erkenbrand/Eowyn? Then you have a solid early defender, and your Steward of Gondor can be played with Brooks.

Even still, but I don't think this style of Brooks recursion feels too broken. A lot of these allies are pretty mediocre (Guthlaf, Bofur, Nori, etc.). This deck would definitely not be viable without Brooks. So instead of Brooks making a an already strong deck OP, it seems to be making a previously non-existent archetype playable.

yea you are right. with more spheres there are faster options to fullfil the contract.

the book-mono-taktik+swordthain is to make both costfree, to make it a good deck, flipping contract is more important than spare 1-2 ressourses.

you can even go 3 spheres, then you can have some unique allies for 0-2 cost.

at least, i think you are right, its not op, because rohan and tactics is quite a limitation.
