this is not a 20-hp-gloin-tanks-all deck. it is a Doom Hangs Still deck spiced with some leadershiptrickies. it is only good at multiplayer, and the better, the more player are there.

yes, gloin should get 3-4 damage per round to fuel the expensive event, but not more.

you start with Ring of Barahir as startingattachemant. together with the The One Ring and your 1. round played Well Preserved, he starts with 7 hp. thats enough to survive the most attacks. at the end of the round heal him and enjoy the resources.

on the hp-front there is little to improve, but not very much (Ancestral Armor, Boots from Erebor). the main goal is to play a Doom Hangs Still nearly every round. that should be possible with the Tome of Atanatar and there you see why he needs so much resources (event + tome is 8)

at the start you can only use the "no increased thread for questing"-option. lateron with use of Pillars of the Kings the valoraction is also doable.

in the rounds where no Doom Hangs Still is needed, he can help with Sneak Attack + Gandalf or some Grim Resolve or Strength of Arms

if you discard some valuable attachements, do not worry, the Erebor Hammersmith can get it back, so you can play the Well-Equipped as soon as you get them.

if no one uses the Steward of Gondor replace the Captains of the West with it.

this deck is untested, perhaps more carddraw is needed, then use the sideboard.

Doom Hangs Still is theoretical playable 1. turn (#captains wisdom + contract) but it could not be the best advice to do so.
