Turgon 557

Try to get Dúnedain Hunter (and Misty Mountain Journeyman) in your opening hand. They'll power Tom Cotton's ability to pay for allies of any sphere, and that'll get your Dúnedain engine running.

You can do a lot of fun things with the contract. First of all, you can use it on Tom Cotton to allow him to buy out-of-sphere Dúnedain cards. You can use it on Red Book of Westmarch to give all Dúnedain characters +1 . You can even use it to put Fast Hitch or Hobbit Cloak on Amarthiúl!

Once you're engaged with a couple enemies (and hopefully have some of them have been Forest Snared), Fornost Bowman, Warden of Annúminas, and Guardian of Arnor have insane stats, Sarn Ford Sentry can give you a ton of cards, Knowledge of the Enemy can give you lots of money, and Heir of Valandil can pretty much get you any ally for free. Halbarad is also very useful in the late game.

It's also thematically neat to imagine the Dúnedain teaming up with the hobbits to protect the Shire from all harm. In all, this is a pretty fun deck!

Do you primarily play this multiplayer / 2 handed or true solo? It looks a like it needs a turn or 2 to get willpower going.

I'm excited to see another Last Alliance of Hobbits and Dunedain. This is one of the first crossovers I tried out with the contract. Nice syngeries but always seemes to require a lot of build up.

@kattattack22 Primarily multiplayer. It's not the best for willpower (It actually originally had 3 Misty Mountain Journeyman), but it can consistently keep 4 to 6 enemies at bay in a 3-4 player game, and quest for enough to hold its own.

Though Red Book of Westmarch gives a whole lot of willpower. If you're playing solo, I would maybe cut Eldahir for another Misty Mountain Journeyman.

That's cool, thanks. Yeah, I've always ending up cutting Eldahir from my solo Dunedain decks. I generally would rather have another Guardian of Arnor or a defensive attachment for my main defender.
