Hi, Saw some inspiring decks for solo Aragorn and thought to give it a try and here is with what i came up with:

STRATEGY

  1. Aragorn combined with Strider from the start is pretty insane. Quest for 4 without exhausting and possible ability trigger -4 threat on a location. Strider is the card to fetch with the contract.

  2. Location control with Rhovanion Outrider and Northern Tracker + ability Aragorn and a possible Arod

  3. Lot's of untapping needed in order to be able to put this hero to its best use. We go questing without exhausting, exhaust to use ability, untap again. if combat cards are setup you can engage enemy Roheryn to immediate attack it. Untap Aragorn to defend. Untap again to fight another enemy or provide ranged attack help to your partner(s)...

OPENING HAND

Prio 1: Master of the Forge is needed to setup Aragorn and cards that gives additional spheres like Ring of Barahir

Prio 2: card drawing -> DĂșnedain Pipe and GlĂ©owine and having a Resourceful is also great off course

Pay attention: Unique cards like Sword that was Broken and Roheryn need A Good Harvest in order to play them because they won't work with The Grey Wanderer

Getting Aragorn to three color sphere should be your priority in order to play everything you want. You want additional spheres as fast as possible so prioritize your attachments well when fetching with Master of the Forge

For example picking a Sword that was Broken when you don't have A Good Harvest is not a good idea... do not worry to much about that, you'll get them in play. You have sufficient card draw and deck fetching to filter deck and should be no issue. Just do not throw away or discard A Good Harvest they are in the deck for a reason. :)

A Good Harvest is very flexible and allows you to play cards of a sphere you can't normally play except 1 card with the contract. But imagine you have several cards of the same sphere you wanna play in 1 round instead of only 1 per round, that's where A Good Harvest comes in.

Overall i am fan of this version of Aragorn and personally i think it might be the strongest hero of all heroes. Perhaps the one to play solo
