NERD 808

- Intro -

This is both my best A Perilous Voyage deck and favorite Noldor deck. It can easily draw 6 cards per turn using Erestor, Elven-light, and Legacy of Gondolin. This deck's biggest strength is good willpower. However, it can eventually handle combat admirably.

- Questing -

All of your heroes quest until you find Narya for Círdan (However, if you hit 40 threat or find Light of Valinor first, Círdan can easily quest and use his ring). Sailor of Lune, Rivendell Minstrel, and Lindon Navigator are your main questing allies. Silver Circlet can further boost .

- Combat -

Early game combat is a bit weak. Círdan gets Light of Valinor so he is your early game defender. The damage he takes can be healed by Lembas (readying him for a counter attack). However, once Narya and Guardian of Rivendell are found with the incredible draw, defense becomes easy. Cloak of Lórien (Possibly combined with Box of Earth can further strengthen the guardian up to 5 . Attacking is also lacking early on so Fair and Perilous is very helpful against the first enemy. The best targets for Fair and Perilous are Círdan the Shipwright and Glorfindel. Late game attack is handled by Eregion Survivors and other beefy allies being readied by Narya.

- Engines -

There is just so much card draw. Side A of the contract, Erestor, Círdan the Shipwright, Daeron's Runes, Elven-light, Heed the Dream, Song of Eärendil, Rivendell Minstrel, Master of the Forge, Lindir, and Legacy of Gondolin. This deck also has excellent resource acceleration (something uncommon for and ). Arwen Undómiel provides early game resources, while Love of Tales can generate up to 3 resources after buying a free song (This is possible because Song of Wisdom can enable Love of Tales to go on the heroes. In addition To the Sea, to the Sea! is insane in the deck, allow for cards like Glorfindel to be bought for a single resource.

- Other -

Healing is handled by Song of Healing, Lembas, and Imladris Caregiver. There is no threat reduction due to the contract, but that rarely becomes an issue as once the contract flips, you can quest like crazy. This deck is pure speed while being a ton of fun to play. There are just SO many decisions to make each turn. In addition, I forgot to add Lords of the Eldar to the deck. If you think it needs it, you can add it in.

- Tricks -

-Círdan's](/card/11001) discarding ability can choose from 5 cards with Erestor

-Glorfindel can lower his own cost by being discarded for and then bought with To the Sea, to the Sea!

-The Road Goes Ever On can both generate resources from Love of Tales and find Gather Information to find any card

-If playing multiplayer Song of Eärendil can be used to reach Side B of A Perilous Voyage faster while helping your teammates

-Miruvor can be used every turn for readying at the cost of 1 resource due to the insane draw this deck has

-Wandering Spirit can grab discarded allies at a lower cost.

Quick question: Does Legacy of Gondolin check number of cards in your hand before or after the card you're intending to play leaves your hand? Stated another way, can I play a attachment if it would leave 2 cards in my hand, or only if it would leave 1 card in my hand?

I'm pretty sure you can only play allies or attachments if it would leave one card in your hand (meaning you started with a total of two cards).
