I wanted to build a deck with the Legolasand Gimlicombo but I have noticed its defaults which I have tried to fix in this deck.
First of all Gimlialone has trouble paying for the important leadership cards like Dwarven Shieldor Durin's Songbecause he spends his money to ready Legolas. I tried to fix this by adding Glóinwho would bring in a lot of money for leadership.
As for Legolasyour hand often gets low on cards which is a big problem. I tried to fix this by adding more card draw, but without cards like Elven-lightin my collection I was forced to settle with slightly less better options like [King Under the Mountain](/card/132018. I had briefly thought about adding Narvi's Beltso that I could put in some card draw, but it took up too much deck space.
Well I hope you enjoy, and feel free to give suggestions, they would be very useful, especially for more ally options.

Aug 03, 2022i misjudged the Silvan Refugee with the Lórien Guide the Silvan Refugee is an option, but would not recommand with Escort from Edoras in the same deck. imo the Galadriel's Handmaiden are one of the best cheap spiritallies |

the base-idea is good, i am a dwarf-fan, but i never used the Dwarven Shield there are so much better options for defense and for res-generation it is to bad because it needs 2 rounds to pay for itself and you can not rely on it to create some. it is itself kins df anti-constructiv, should help to defend, but get only res if the char is wounded.
so, with Dúnedain Warning and Hauberk of Mail and Shining Shield and if thats not enough the Ancestral Armor there is enough good defense in leadership.
if you want more res, but go less thematic, use Denethor instead of Glóin. these 2 startingres more should do it. without healing, Glóin is so or so not the best option for res-generation.
for allies, i never use the Silvan Refugee. in all tasks, the Rhovanion Outrider is better.
for my decks with ld mostly Gandalf + Sneak Attack is aoutoinclude is so cheap and flexible use, its always usefull (except you play with a buddy who needs gandalf as hero)
another option to spare res, would be to make it a Forth, The Three Hunters!-deck. then the attachments are much cheaper and you intensify the friendship.
if going 3-hunters, consider a tactic-hero as 3. there are so many cheap tacticattachements.
