spinnerrogers has a newer deck inspired by this one: Galadriel Musters Rohan 2.0

A Leadership-Spirit Rohan deck featuring Galadriel.

Galadriel allows you to get more value out of every Rohan ally. With Théoden, you can play Escort from Edoras for 1, and have it for two turns [this is incorrect, see comments]. Use it the first turn, then keep it in reserve for the right moment, or cycle it with Gúthwinë. Éomund's 2 becomes much more useful as well.

My original thought with including Galadriel was to capitalize on using Nenya and Herugrim to boost Éomer's attack, but I found her ability to allow allies to quest the first turn they enter play without exhausting to be her most powerful contribution. With The Muster of Rohan, you can put up to four questers into play, who are ready for combat: a temporary shield that's excellent for pushing onto the next quest card.

Gúthwinë is an awesome card. Personally, I much prefer it to Horn of the Mark, because of the choice it offers. Your discard pile becomes a toolbox full of answers to different situations. Éomund and Háma provide excellent insurance against attacks, and the ability to recycle them can create a kind of "safe zone." Gúthwinë also turns the very explosive The Muster of Rohan into pseudo card draw, giving you access to different units once they've left play.

I hope this deck convinces others that you can play Rohan carefully and defensively, while still benefitting from Rohan's explosive potential.

Escort from Edoras would be discarded the first turn either way - the text on it is committed, not exhausted. Galadriel just allows them to commit without exhausting.

I'd also suggest that Horn of the Mark isn't competing for deck space with Gúthwinë given you have two restricted slots per hero and there are only three restricted attachments in the deck and it doesn't matter which hero Horn goes on between Theoden and Eomer.

For Gondor! feels out of place given the complete lack of Gondor characters - Éomer feels like where you really need the attack bonus, so an additional copy of Dúnedain Mark seems like it would be better in most situations.

Whoops you’re so right about that Escort/Galadriel interaction (or lack thereof), I guess it’s one of those things where I thought it worked that way at some point a long time ago and stopped reading the card. In that case I’d put more West Road travelers.

What I meant about the Horn is that if I had to pick one, I’d pick Guthwine. Not that I have to pick. For Gondor! is there because the allies don’t have great attack, and it can be nice to take advantage of their numbers sometimes.

good idea combine Galadriel with The Muster of Rohan !!

i can be improved, adding Captain's Wisdom (can be used on theoden or galadriel) to fire up a The Muster of Rohan 1. round

then, to possible play it more than 3 times, i would add Dwarven Tomb

overall, i would increase the ally-ratio up to 20-25 specially add Éomund 3 times (if come into play, he quests, then die at defending and trigger his ability)

would discard most of the events. to costly or not efficient enough.

consider Miruvor all of the heroes like it
