Emmental 407

These three boys are arguably the weakest heroes of the game. Let's see if you can win with them alone.

Mulligan hard for Silver Circlet or Strider. You desperatly need some .

Barely managed to win a little half of my games against Voyage along the Anduin (mostly depending on luck on setup and first turn. High location ? you lose lol).

When the stars align and you manage to flip contract, the hardest part is done and game has always been won.

Man this deck is horrible. No good traits, no acces to for resources or readying, almost no willpower (so many games i had to quest with Dori (even Bombur and A Desperate Path) in order to grab this extra willpower point), and consider two of your heroes have a totally useless text box.

I wouldn’t say that Bombur is one of the worst heroes, but I totally agree with Fatty Bolger and Dori.

The earliest version of this deck was a Bond of Friendship featuring the lowest-ranked hero of each sphere (according to this poll : Fatty Bolger, Bombur, Éomer and Dori.

I had to issues with this deck : first, there is no clear garbage hero in . Secondly, all i had to do was build a strong ally board (welp, it still had an horrible winrate^^).

So i tried to make a deck removing this two things, using Forth, The Three Hunters! as a way to forbid me to play allies.

But i kept the initial idea of "worst hero from each sphere".

I'm interested, who would you pick to replace Bombur to complete your wort hero lineup ?

To clarify, Smeagol isn't the worst hero, but with these other heroes he would be pretty bad. Similarly, Pippin can compete with Fatty Bolger depending on the other heroes, though in this case the lack of among the starting set is likely the biggest drawback, so Fatty and Bombur are probably a uniquely terrible pair.

I’d say that Thalin,Dwalin,Brand son of Bainand,Pippin are worse than Bombur. But of course Bombur is not great and every bad hero has its purpose.

I agree, outside of a Dwarf deck, Bombur is quite mediocre. In a dwarf deck however, Bombur is surprisingly effective at getting the dwarf mechanics online. Fatty Bolger is definitely terrible, and Dori is challenging to use, although I'd argue he is a decent defender (and his ability is useful for boss enemies in multiplayer). Dwalin is easily one of the worst heroes, and Bilbo Baggins in multiplayer is also quite bad.

Brand son of Bain at least has some useful stats and can combo well with Merry. Thalin is good in an Argalad direct damage deck but bad basically everywhere else. Pippin is terrible. I think Mirlonde also needs mention here. Pippin or any messenger of the king hero does her job so much better.
