mulligan

• • you most important cards for the beginning are Timely Aid and #A Very Good Tale, keep a hand with 1 of them and Daeron's Runes or Deep Knowledge
• • keep a hand with King Under the Mountain or Legacy of Durin that additional carddraw will make the other cards come soon
• • if big defense is needed from the first round (dragon or troll), try to get Thorongil

advices:

• do not pay the ring-attachment 1. round, if you do not need it 1. round
• if can get the Soldier of Erebor early he is very good for A Very Good Tale with his inbuild readying and high cost
• play all card-drawings (Daeron's Runes Deep Knowledge ally with [Legacy of Durin](/card/04061 and use King Under the Mountain) before you use aid and tale
• Captain's Wisdom is usable, dain is noble even if rings.db not have the image of ld-dain with noble, see http://hallofbeorn.com/LotR/Details/Dain-Ironfoot-rtm use it and make dain ready with contract
• get attachments that are discarded by A Very Good Tale King Under the Mountain and Ered Nimrais Prospector back with Erebor Hammersmith
• if you have Erebor Toymaker + King Under the Mountain in hand play it first in the round
• because of Song of Travel dain can whenever he has res pay for Erebor Record Keeper

finishing notes:

• if you have extreme fighting to do, consider including Erebor Battle Master
• if you want to boost the deck (with AleP or unthematicially) include sideboard, discard 1-3 Resourceful for 1-3 Steward of Gondor try out what to discard for Lay of the Nauglamír perhaps just add it
• if you do not wabt the ring, just let the 3 ringcards out
