Gwaihir, Lord of the Winds 72

This deck is simple, fun, and powerful. Use Treebeard relentlessly and heal him completely using Lembas, Self Preservation, Healing Herbs, Warden of Healing, Wellinghall Preserver, and of course, Elrond, the Lord of Healing himself. Lembas is excellent for Treebeard to trigger his ability once during the quest phase, and then be ready for a huge attack or defense on the same turn. Lembas can then be recycled using Erebor Hammersmith. Mirlonde is there for a low starting threat and helps with questing/attacking and exhausting for Healing Herbs.

Mulligan for Steward of Gondor and A Good Harvest in your opening hand (or Master of the Forge and Mithrandir's Advice), and then swarm the field with Ents. A Burning Brand and Ent Draught goes on both Elrond and Treebeard for reliable defense options. The lore Ents alone provide more than enough questing power without Elrond or Treebeard late in the game. Booming Ent of course provides more than enough attack power for any enemy (max attack strength of 15 each!).

I have had great success with this deck solo, but can be a decent multiplayer one as well.

Happy questing peoples of Middle-earth - may you farewell wherever you fare till your eyries receive you at the journey's end!
