It is most definitely a trap!

I have designed this deck to compliment my hobbit deck: http://ringsdb.com/decklist/view/9451/a-hobbit-s-tale-1.0

It seeks to make use of Pippin's ability to attach traps to specific enemies, whilst remaining in secrecy and grinding down enemies whilst they are in the staging area. Gildor's Counsel can be used in conjunction with Henamarth Riversong (in the other deck) to make sure that the correct enemy gets trapped.

As Damrod is one of our heroes here, we will want to remove his ally version from the other deck and bringing in a different card from the side-board. Wandering Took would be my suggestion as he can help to share out the threat reduction from The Galadhrim's Greeting quite nicely for two players and both decks will want to try and keep their threat low.

It's a typical trap deck, featuring the usual attachments and Ranger allies. Mablung and Guardian of Ithilien work very nicely together to ensure an enemy gets the right trap attached to them and can add a little location control with Expert Trackers. Robin Smallburrow seems a little out of place but provides a nice cost-effective boost to and his ability can be triggered by one of the hobbits in the other deck. I have also included a little bit of healing with Ioreth and Warden of Healing as it is lacking in the other deck.
