This is a straightforward soloable bull-out-of-the-gates deck. Even if you lose, the enemy will have suffered greatly.

All heroes quest for 11 every turn, with occasional support from Grimbold. Trained for War is there for the occasional questing burst, and may be used in conjunction with Éowyn and/or Beorn’s actions.

Everything else is warriors going to war, and is ready from turn 1. Prince Imrahil summons warrior allies whom you can count on bringing 3+ regularly. They can help finish off enemies or die in a Last Stand. If they die, Horn of Gondor triggers. In this case it’s often like playing a free Feint.

The only card draw is Legolas, who may trigger his effect occasionally after entering play through Prince Imrahil. It’s not too much of a problem, because I see Prince Imrahil’s action as a form of card draw every turn.

Starting hand : Look for Horn of Gondor. Try not to have too many allies you’d rather see enter play through Prince Imrahil. If the quest starts with battle questing, look for Vassal of the Windlord.
