Seastan 44441
This deck is meant to handle about 50% of the defense and 100% of the attack in 3-4 players, and not much else.
Basic Strategy
Mulligan for Orcrist, or dig it out with Open the Armory. Once it's unguarded, attach it to Elladan. Now Elladan is attacking for 5 , and every time he kills an enemy he recoups the cost of readying himself. With some other attachments to boost his attack strength (Dúnedain Mark, Glamdring), and give him ranged (Rivendell Bow, Dúnedain Cache), he can wipe the entire board of enemies every turn with no help. And with Glamdring you also draw a card for each enemy killed. Insane!
Other cards
Steward of Gondor goes on Elrohir to help him trigger his ability and pay for attachments. Beravor is just here to help get all the pieces out quicker. Once you've set up you can use her on other players because Glamdring will start flooding your hand anyway.
Heir of Mardil is for Elrohir. It basically just lets you get a ready out of him after triggering Steward of Gondor each turn (so you'll want to wait until the first time Elrohir defends in the combat phase to trigger Steward).
Mariner's Compass is here to help you grab your guarded attachments quickly. If Orcrist gets guarded by a location, just shuffle it away to instantly gain control of the guarded attachment. The new location that gets added to the staging area will not be guarding it.
The Errand-riders are for helping out other players and for shuffling around your own resources. On turns where they aren't needed they can use Mariner's Compass.
We Are Not Idle is just used for a free draw, since there are obviously no dwarves in this deck.
Blade Mastery is for emergency situations where Elladan is 1 short of killing an enemy or Elrohir is 1 short on defense. It can also be used to help out other players. I was actually a little surprised at how effective this card was in the 4-player game I played. It ended up saying the lives of one player's Beregond and another player's Gandalf! And it was of course incredibly satisfying to surprise the table with this niche card.
I strongly advise playing the deck alongside someone running 3x Arwen Undómiel ally, because it makes your job of setting up Elrohir much, much easier. Otherwise, you will need to swap in Dúnedain Signal from the sideboard (maybe for We are Not Idle, Compass, or Glamdring). You might also want to find room for the The Wizards's Voice, which is a fabulous card in high player counts to help you deal with defense for a couple rounds until your machine gun is set up.

Jan 23, 2019I figured this combo would work, but I would fear I'd get bored with the deck just mowing down everything in sight. Presumably it works ok in 2 player also. I haven't even played 2 handed yet, but certainly won't ever see a 3-4 player game. |
Jan 23, 2019I don't know, |
Jan 24, 2019Elladan is particularly good for those swords. I've also done something similar with a Sword-thained Legolas and Hour of Wrath for insane card draw. Definitely a bit less reliable though. xD |

Aug 02, 2019Any thoughts on swapping out beravor? The lore splash is nice and I can see that master of the forge is pretty legit for this, but I'm wondering if I could run another leadership hero to help pay for all the leadership. |

Can confirm this deck is for real. It is not a solo deck though. Runs well alongside a blue/green quest & control deck. (Running Arwen ally)
