As you might have guessed from the name this is an Elfheim-deck. I always found him to be an interesting hero. However, most of the time he is limited to being a minor side-theme (adding a few useful stats, but not really being critical) in a deck, or a part of a fellowship where multiple decks make use of his ability. Instead I wanted to make a single deck that all on it's own really focuses on Elfheim and his ability.
Admittedly the result is a deck that is a bit heavy on combat, and not so heavy on willpower. Therefore it will probably work better in multiplayer, but here Elfheim earns his spot regardless of what the other decks bring. Off course if you do want to make a fellowship out of it there are plenty of combos yet to explore for a second deck, like Windfola or Steed of Imladris on a number of Spirit or Noldor heroes, Asfaloth on Glorfindel or even Firefoot on Éomer.
Dagger of Westernesse are proxys for Warriors Sword
In order to maximize the use of Elfheim the deck builds around the combination of heroes having multiple resource-icons, and doing multiple actions with various readying effects.
Amarthiúl + Armored Destrier is in many ways the most potent combination here. Especially since it's so quick to set up. With the mount he can defend with 4 , ready, and hit back with 4 (or he can defend twice if needed). Add some attacking help from Aragorn and you can often start killing quite large enemies right from the first round. Give Amarthiul two copys of the destrier and make him Captain of Gondor, and he becomes an absolute beast.
Aragorn gets his toys (obviously). With Celebrían's Stone and Roheryn he is 5 4 , and can use both. With 3 5 he's also a decent defender, but you've usually got better options for defense. His flexibility also makes him the perfect target for Unexpected Courage and the Warriors sword + Dúnedain Mark help him reach the levels where he kills regularly with the attack from Roheryn.
Elfhelm himself gets Snowmane and a Song of Travel. That way he can quest with 3 , ready, and then defend with 3 . Depending on your needs (or on what cards you get) he can take the third copy of Armored Destrier or a Golden Shield (and do boss-defense with 6 ). Often you can do one and then the other, as the game develops.
Steward of Gondor goes on whoever first gets a icon, or on Aragorn if none have one yet.
Galadriel is great to use before the Westfold Horse-breeder to ensure it doesn't whiff. She's also often a great opener (especially if you didn't get steward in the opening hand) to start pulling the combos together.
That's pretty much it. Comments are appreciated.
