AstroSnail 43
This deck is for Rob.
The basic strategy of this deck is to get Vilya out as soon as possible, and then start putting allies on the board to fill up your fellowship. Many of the allies have built-in readying abilities (such as Boromir, Gimli, and Glorfindel), and Narya can ready the others.
To get Vilya out as soon as possible, the deck runs 3x Word of Command. Don't hesitate to exhaust Gandalf on the very first turn to get Vilya on the table. If you don't have Word of Command or Vilya in your opening hand, Expert Treasure-hunter will help you draw through your deck until you find one of them. Expert Treasure-hunter is also a great way to draw cards and ready Glorfindel repeatedly.
There's not much healing in this deck - Ioreth being the sole healing ally, and Landroval providing an undo button.
For threat reduction, the deck runs 3x Elrond's Counsel and 2x Favor of the Valar, and Reforged to replay Favor of the Valar again.
Future considerations: I might want to swap 3x Elrond's Counsel for 3x Secret Vigil, and 1x Favor of the Valar for another copy of Reforged. I'd also consider dropping Fellowship and swapping out 3 of the unique allies and 3 copies of A Very Good Tale for 3x Elven-light and 3x Imladris Caregiver.
