Pure Series:

I realized that my original Pure Series has become out of date, so I've remade many (if not all) of my decks.

This is a series of about 10 decks that I made that don’t share any cards with each other. Meaning I can only use Steward of Gondor in one of my 10 decks. This forces me to use different methods of card draw and resource generation.

I have every expansion, but only 1 core set :(

I do include different cards of the same unique character in different decks. (Ex. Haldir of Lórien hero in my Scout deck and Haldir of Lórien ally in my Silvan deck.)

Harad Deck:

This deck is all about putting high costing allies out into play for free via Vilya. Harad fits perfectly into this scheme as they are a bunch of powerful high costing allies. Then Gandalf is here to make sure Vilya hits every time.

Opening Hand:

In your opening hand, you really want to see Vilya. After you get Vilya, you are looking for Wizard Pipe and some high costing allies.

Card Draw:

For card draw, there are lots of options. Expert Treasure-hunter is the main source of card as it hits every time with Gandalf. Gandalf's Staff is usually used for resources, but could also draw you a card. Master of the Forge searches for the key attachments you need.

Resources:

Gandalf's Staff can give you resources, but Vilya is the real MVP. Let's say you have Vilya and Wizard Pipe out - switch the top card of your deck with a high costing ally in your hand (example: Firyal) and then play that ally for free using Vilya. In essence, you are saving 5 resources - and can be this process can be repeated every turn.

Resource smoothing is also very prevalent as Elrond can pay for allies in any sphere, Kahliel can pay for Harad allies from any sphere, and Gandalf can have any sphere when playing the top card of the deck. Plus, there are a lot of key neutral attachments, so every resource will be used in one way or another.

Allies:

There is a total of 14 allies that cost 4+, all of them being powerful game-changers. Kahliel’s Tribesman and Southron Refugee are to support your Harad characters. Warden of Healing gets boosted by Elrond. And Imladris Stargazer can set up Elrond.

Attachments:

Kahliel's Headdress gives you that bonus willpower with the added bonus of being able to shuffle your deck if you don't like what's on top. Shadowfax gives you extra actions with Gandalf which can be used with Narya to make your Harad allies even more powerful (plus readying them). I'm looking at you Jubayr. With so many duplicate unique attachments and allies, I've got Protector of Lórien to make those cards at least somewhat useful (you also have Kahliel's ability for any duplicate Harad allies).

Events:

Your starting threat is... 37. So The Galadhrim's Greeting isn't just a nice to have card, but more or less essential.
