This started out as a pure Dunedain deck, but it had some trouble with questing and defending. I've included Grimbeorn the Old to replace Amarthiúl who definitely was a better thematic fit but you just can't beat Grimbeorn who defends and attacks every round (as long as there's a resource available to him).
- questing: both Aragorn and Halbarad can work in the early rounds. Celebrían's Stone, Faramir and Sword that was Broken help a lot later.
- defense: Grimbeorn the Old will never quest, so he should always be available for defense. Captain of Gondor and Dúnedain Warning are good attachments for him. Guardian of Arnor is also great when you have multiple enemies engaged.
- attack: Aragorn readied with Steed of the North is great at pulling in enemies from the staging area after the enemy attack phase, so you can engage them and attack without them having a chance to attack first
- card draw: - Galadriel is there to fetch key items like Sword that was Broken, Rune-master and Steward of Gondor. Gandalf can be used to that purpose as well
- resources: - Steward of Gondor, Rune-master, Heir of Valandil and Sword of Númenor are all sources of resource acceleration
Mulligan for Steward of Gondor since resources are critical here. You want to get Galadriel out as soon as possible to help with playing key attachments. Grimbeorn and Aragorn should be powered up with various attachments so they can take care of enemies as quickly as possible. Keep one enemy engaged with you to use Halbarad's ability every round.
