Pure Series:

I realized that my original Pure Series has become out of date, so I've remade many (if not all) of my decks.

This is a series of about 10 decks that I made that don’t share any cards with each other. Meaning I can only use Steward of Gondor in one of my 10 decks. This forces me to use different methods of card draw and resource generation.

I only use heroes that fit the theme or archetype of the deck.

I do include different cards of the same unique character in different decks. (Ex. Haldir of Lórien hero in my Scout deck and Haldir of Lórien ally in my Silvan deck.)

Traps Deck:

This deck focuses on letting Glóin take some damage in order to get some resources and then constantly healing and using those resources to fuel the typical trap shenanigans.

Opening Hand:

In your opening hand, you are looking for Narvi's Belt and a Self Preservation or Daughter of the Nimrodel to starting healing right out the gate.

Resources:

Resources come from Glóin. In fact, endgame you should have so many resources that I included Errand-riders in order to let you give some of those resources away.

Card Draw:

Beravor and Damrod give you your card draw. Wingfoot and Leather Boots get attached to Beravor in order to make sure that she is able to use her ability every turn. Damrod gives you a little bonus card draw while letting you get the advantages from the various trap cards.

Traps:

Pretty simple overall - Ranger Spikes or Forest Snare combos with Interrogation and Emyn Arnen Ranger and lets you basically negate an enemy. Entangling Nets makes enemies less formidable (especially when you are planning on taking some undefended attacks). Poisoned Stakes goes with Forest Patrol and Faramir to directly kill enemies. Guardian of Ithilien is also very useful for playing a trap out in the staging area and then throwing an enemy into it.

Gloin:

Glóin needs a consistent source of healing first, and then you are looking for Narvi's Belt. Narvi's Belt is used to then pay for Citadel Plate - letting you defend against bigger enemies. Overall, just a couple of pieces to give Glóin tons of resources.

Lórien's Wealth is included to help other players out as you will usually have enough resources to pay for its cost.

Love the trap based theme of this deck, works very well for killing enemies and getting rid of locations. The only problem is sometimes my silly heroes walk in to their own traps they have set up themselves while walking on the path to fight evil. That might just be my silly heroes in their haste to attack enemies. I would give this deck a 6 out of 10 just because of the lack of blue cards and need for so many attachments for gloin to effectively produce tons of coins.

@LOTRLCD- Not A Game; Its A Lifestyle That really is unfortunate, I can see where your heroes might not notice the traps that they themselves set up. Fortunately, I have not had that problem.

If the problem continues, maybe try taking all the traps out of the deck?
