(MotK) Firyal is insane with 3 and encounter deck control on turn 1. Pair her with a powerful Radagast eagles line up and throw in Éowyn to top it all off and you've got something strong. Used this deck to beat Carn Dum and Firyal did all the work to get rid of the unpleasant encounter cards that would have ruined my day.

Aug 10, 2020Would it be worth adding Song of Battle so that Radagast could take a copy of Support of the Eagles? With A Burning Brand he'd be able to tank anything. The extra resource smoothing would help some, as well. |
Aug 11, 2020Thanks for pointing that out. I missed that restriction and illegally played Support of the Eagles on Radagast in my testing. I guess a 1-of would work fine since we have Word of Command to grab it. |
Aug 12, 2020This might be a silly question, can you turn allies into heroes? |
Aug 12, 2020@manso yes with the messenger of the king contract, check it out! |

Oct 14, 2020With the ability of Firyal to discard cards from encounter deck, why do you not use Flight of the Eagles to insert Eagle of the North in this deck and find it quickly thanks to Firyal? |

very strong solosetup!! and this without elrond-vilya or gandalf. for long games would perhaps add some thread reduction, means favor of the valar or keen as lances. would discard 1-3 descendants for that
