Strength:
- Théodred and Bifur brings flexibility in resource allocation
- Allies help in balancing the game (Silverlode Archer and Longbeard Orc Slayer in fighting; [Faramir] and Snowbourn Scout (/card/01014) in quest, Gléowine in new cards
Weakness:
- highly depended on allies
- weak attachments
- low quest progress and combat
Best Combo/Cards:
- Sneak Attack & Gandalf - for 1 resource you can use Gandalf perks
- A Very Good Tale - for no resource brings new allies
- Henamarth Riversong & Rumour from the Earth - can look into the encounter deck
- Steward of Gondor - brings resources
- Valiant Sacrifice - brings new cards
Medium/Low Cards:
- Forest Snare - with luck used against Trolls
- Dúnedain Watcher - high cost for cancelling a shadow effect
- Erebor Hammersmith - never brought an attachment
- Lore of Imladris - with many allies there is a low chance for healing the heroes
- For Gondor! - makes sense only for strong enemies, rarely used
Final Thoughts: I fought through the Core & Shadow of Mirkwood quests. Would love to build on the Aragorn & Théodred combo which so far best performed in my collection. Once I got better cards, will definitely got back to this deck.
