Intro: My goal was to build a strong deck around Beregond.
Strength:
- Combat against low/medium enemies is great, using Beregond for defense and Glorfindel for attack worked great, however for strong enemies it is very challenging;
- With Arwen Undómiel or Asfaloth the quest progress worked fine, without them it was a struggle;
Weakness:
- Success is highly depended on the ability to stuff the heroes with attachment, with bad hand the game is a struggle;
- Quest progress could be better;
- Attack could be better, many allies with 0
Best Combo/Cards:
- Glorfindel with Light of Valinor & Asfaloth & Rivendell Blade is a killing combination;
- Beregond with Spear of the Citadel & Citadel Plate is the main defense.
- Elrond with Warden of Healing keeps the heroes alive
- Master of the Forge was crucial in getting the attachments in play
- Ancient Mathom & Daeron's Runes keeps the cards comming
Medium/Low Cards:
- Gléowine - never used it, other cards bringed plenty of cards
- Ranger Spikes - had bad luck with this card, either caught an easy enemy, or an enemy that I had to still confront
- Behind Strong Walls - never used, mainly because Beregond had a low
Final Thoughts: I struggled in many of the scenarios, hoped the deck will work better, will definitely need an improvement.
