bold to use eleanor as maindefender. but, you are right, with inner strength and gondorian shield, she defends for 5 + shadowcancelling.

but if that is your intension, the shield is important, so i would add some Open the Armory

the basic-idea is good, but i would make it more a well rounded deck, that not only can cancel. this would easy be done including 6 outlands the

• 3 Knights of the Swan and
• 3 Ethir Swordsman
• 3 Miruvor

i would discard:

• 2 Rod of the Steward
• 3 Honour Guard
• 2 Ancient Mathom
• 2 Hasty Stroke (u have balin, inner strength and 3 Sterner than Steel i think, thats enough ;)

would put 2 Campfire Tales in the sideboard, only use them in multiplayer.

imo a mustinclude with Éowyn is the Golden Shield only 1 but if you have it, she can defend for 5 and with your whole shadowcancelling, she could defend for 7 and will survive.

would discard a Campfire Tales for that

Déorwine and Armored Destrier :) Deorwine directly cancels while the Destrier discard something from needing to be canceled.

Adding on to what @Uruk-guy said about discarding shadow cards instead of canceling them. Jubayr would work. He's expensive, but you don't have a ton of cards anyway.
