This is a deck of my 2-handed Fellowship "The Third line of Children of Eorl", that I used to beat the first two quests of The Children of Eorl, the first deluxe of the A long extended Party project.
The main inspiration for this deck is the new hero Herubrand who synergizes with both th Forth, The Three Hunters! contract and the rohan staging area attack deck. He replaces Éowyn from the classic line-up, and while his card draw is useful, I'm not yet sure if its better than the lower starting threat and the one time massive attack.
Éomer is always competing with Dúnhere, and while I need him in this felloship to give the Rohan trait to Lothíriel, I think he's general better in a Three Hunters deck. You can make use of his boosted willpower stat and gain acces to more restricted attachments and extra weapons in Valiant Sword and Gúthwinë. His main drawback of spending a ressource gets compensated by the cost reduction of the contrat.
Fastred is our staple defender for things we have to engage and can lower our threat. This is in a fellowship not as useful as in solo play where you can stay below enemies engagement costs, especially if the other deck runs Ingold, but sometimes you can win still the game on your own after the other one threatens out.
The attachments are mostly your standart restricted stuff to flip the contract as fast as possible, exceptions being Horn of the Mark that can be triggered of effects from the partner deck, Gúthwinë and the new Light-footed Steed. Those two can be used on your heroes to flip the contract in the early game, but later on are better played on the heroes from the other deck to use their ally-reliant abilities.
Need Brooks No Delay is a nice addition for every pure Rohan hero line-up, and helps with card draw beside the usual Foe-hammer. Astonishing Speed and Forth Eorlingas! are more niche cards I mainly included for the theme and can be replaced by more powerful cards from the sideboard. With the threat reduction from Fastred you can also use The One Ring tomake the deck more powerful, but I moved it to the sideboard for thematic reasons.
