Are you tired of playing the normal, boring Outlands? Are you tired of being the one player who always brings the same, lame old Outlands deck? Do you still like your Outlands and just wnat to give them a twist, a really unexpected one? Well, you are lucky, because here comes Outlands-Gandalf!
You know, the normal Hobbit-Gandalf is cool and all, but can we make him better? Of course! Can we make him op? Of course! Can we make him an Outlands ally? Yes, we can!
The trick is to attach Lord of Morthond to Hirluin the Fair to draw many cards. Then, we look for Gandalf, either by paying or by bringing him in with Timely Aid. Once that is done, all we need to do is attach things to him! A Wild Stallion is great, and since he can ride better than anyone else, he gets his beloved Shadowfax, too! Then, we equip him with his ring for even more stats; and finally, we look for In Service of the Steward and Sword of Morthond and make him an Outlands ally! Yay! (The order of attaching is quite deliberate, by the way.) When that is done, Gandalf will just be your generic 8/9/9/8 ally who will be able to quest, defend with sentinel, and attack with ranged, or anything you like! Really great, isn't it? And by the way, this deck contains a proxy for an upcoming ALeP card from the Aldburg Plot with matching type, cost and sphere. Can you guess which card it is?
