This deck is designed to engage and defend against as many enemies as possible. Westfold Outrider and Son of Arnor can be used to get Mablung extra resources outside of normal engagements (ability is once per phase). Beregond does the defending as usual with Spear of the Citadel and other attachments. Behind Strong Walls lets him defend multiple attacks with boosted defense each time. Boromir boosts your allies for the attacks back. Deck does quite well with battle and siege quests and could do better with the standard eagle allies teched in.

The deck struggles to quest on its own unless Visionary Leadership is in play. I mostly play this deck as part of a fellowship that can contribute questing power, action advantage like Lembas or Unexpected Courage, and Threat Reduction like Song of EƤrendil. Works especially well if those decks have Gondor characters like Denethor or Warden of Healing.

Uses 1 core set, Against the Shadow and Ringmaker cycles only.
