Failing one and again the Journey to Rhosgobel, I decided to create this deck exclusively to this adventure. I must mention that I only have revised core and the first cycle of the game, so the cards you're going to find here are only of this sorts.
As we already now, in this adventure we must be prepared to have different ways to heal some ally, so the deck is build in that way. Also, may you are asking your self the reason of having cards in deck without any hero. This is thanks for Song of Battle, which lets us play cards, which ones are gonna be important to some encounter cards.
Heroes
- For this time, as always, I choose Éowyn, essential to mission.
- Théodred to being able to play sphere and gaining resources.
- Beravor, whose action plays an importan role and also to play sphere.
I will dedicate Éowyn exclusively to mission, who will be acommpanied by Théodred, and take advantage the extra resource generated by Théodred to give it to Éowyn. In the other hand, I will use action of Beravor to draw more cards and have healing cards in my hand.
Allies
Important mention to Daughter of the Nimrodel, Radagast and all ranged or eagle allies: there are gonna be very useful.
Atachments
All attachment cards destined to improve willpower will be attached to Éowyn. Steward of Gondor my be attached to Éowyn but in this case I will prefer attach to Beravor. Any way, whoever you decide to attach, you must attach also Song of Battle to let her play sphere. Then, Dúnedain Cache should be attached to Beravor, also Unexpected Courage.
Event
The most important event in this deck is Lore of Imladris.
Mulligan
So, finally, to have a great starting hand, you should start with cards like Northern Tracker, Steward of Gondor, Song of Battle, Gandalf, Sneak Attack, and any ally with characteristic ranged.
