xDirtyGx has a newer deck inspired by this one: Two Can Play That Game

There was a time where two hero decks weren't really a viable choice to play. The initial lack of resources and hero actions were a main deterrence of using two hero's. Not to mention how in the world you were supposed to be able to quest, attack, and defend within the first few turns with the lack of bodies on the field.

With the recent addition of Strider two hero decks got the boost that they really needed. Seeing this in your opening hand not only gives you back a hero action starting turn one, but also gives you a bit of questing power back. This got me to thinking what hero could really benefit from this new attachment. And first one that came to mind was the new Éowyn.

Éowyn along with Strider gives you 6 each turn and still allows you to use her to attack or defend later on. But I know you're thinking, why would you defend or attack with her when she has a measly 1 1? That's where Herugrim and Golden Shield come in. With both of these equipped she can then either attack or defend for 7! Or if you want to make her the jack-of-all-trades, slap an Unexpected Courage on her to to all 3 thing each turn.

While Éowyn is off being a do it all, why not make your other hero good as well? Glorfindel and his go to attachment Light of Valinor allow you to quest for 3 and keep an action with him. With that action, Glorfindel can use it for attacking. So why not boost it even more with Dagger of Westernesse. Since you will be starting and staying with very low threat majority of the game, Glorfindel can potentially be swinging for 7!

With such low starting threat and the potential of 23 reduction over the game with events and allies, this deck screams Gandalf and keeping him in play for multiple turns. Being quite the ally he is can make up for that lack of a third hero.

This deck is not a simple play everything as fast as you can. With the lack of initial resources you have and the vast amount of cards that you want to play you have to be wise as to what attachments are most important to play and when you should conserve resources for following turns. Even with Resourceful you still are going to be scrapping by with resources. The worst feeling is knowing you may need to be saving a resource for your A Test of Will or Hasty Stroke when you really want to get that extra attachment or ally out. Adding in Leaf Brooch does help with playing one of those with no resources.

Is this a deck that can beat any quest? Not by a long shot. But this a great start to the possibilities of two hero decks in the future.
