Copterman 1240
DECK NAME - Outlandish Behavior
OVERVIEW - The Nightmare version of Journey Along the Anduin doesn't change the quest much other than to bump up enemy difficulty and make it so trolls cannot have attachments. You want to keep your threat low initially and avoid engaging enemies until you get a few Outlands allies out. Admittedly, Outlands decks are cheesy, but this kind of deck is needed to consistently beat this quest.
HEROES
- Beravor - use her action every round
- Glorfindel - attach Light of Valinor
- Hirluin the Fair - attach Steward of Gondor
STRATEGY
- SETUP - Elrond's Counsel, Light of Valinor, or Sneak Attack Gandalf
- Basic idea of the deck is to spam outlands allies; be careful not to lose your allies to Necromancer's Reach
- Ranger Spikes - can't attach to trolls, but works great against other pesky enemies
- A Good Harvest - helps makes sure you don't get locked up in a tri-sphere deck
- A Test of Will - there are 4 treacheries in the encounter deck that you can cancel, effectively giving you a free round
- Fresh Tracks - cannot kill Eastern Crows before it surges but it does kill it and more importantly can help enemies not to engage
- Strider's Path - deals well with Gladden Marshlands
