When Denethor gives his armour and his patronage to Gimli, good things happen. They get better when Merry rocks up with all the horses he can handle.
Needs a deck to team up with. Defending and Attacking are pretty much sewn up. Some healing for your Derndingle Warriors might be nice too.
Idea is as old as the game, load up Gimli with damage and slaughter everything on the table.

Once Steward of Gondor is on Gimli, Denethor can give him any unneeded resources. Errand-riders can send them elsewhere if required.
