Carder89 has a newer deck inspired by this one: Glorfindel's Hospital HfG

Meant for Core Set quests. Mostly a defend and support deck. Denethor will be the main defender of the group. Soup him up with Protector of Lórien and Self Preservation and heal him further with Glorfindel and Daughter of the Nimrodel. Glorfindel can quest or help kill the enemies engaged with this player. Théodred can give resources to himself, Glorfindel or any other questing heroes on the team.

Steward of Gondor goes on Glorfindel to help him pay for his healing, and to pay for expensive cards.

Otherwise this deck is a combination of card draw, Sneak Attack shenanigans with Beorn, Gandalf, and to a lesser extent Miner of the Iron Hills, Snowbourn Scout, and Son of Arnor.

Use Forest Snare to trap the bigger enemies, so Denethor only needs to defend them once or twice. Erebor Hammersmith can get them back.
