This deck was born from a desire to use several different strategies that ended up getting meshed together. I've wanted to make a signal deck for awhile, but I've also wanted to make a deck utilizing Tale of Tinúviel. Inspiring Presence seems like a game changing card, but I never really found a good deck to put it in. Then it hit me - why not combine a few of them? I haven't utilized a leadership/spirit deck in quite a long time, and I think this might be a very viable deck from solo or multiplayer play.

The allies in this deck are a mixed bag of Gondor and Dunedain, but in reality they're the bonus material in the deck. When you're drawing your opening hand, you want to look more for your signals and tools for Arwen Undómiel to start giving you card draw and resources. Between Denethor and Arwen Undómiel, along with Steward of Gondor, Ranger Provisions, and Captain's Wisdom, you have plenty of resource generation to get your allies and attachments out to allow you to start questing very strongly and still deal with enemies very well. If you find you'd prefer more card draw, 3x Ancient Mathom can be swapped for Ranger Provisions.

Please let me know what you think and how to improve the deck in the comments!

I like your use of inspiring presence, I have never been able to build a deck that I would want to use that in. Also, blue/purple are my go to colors for any single player deck. A Test of Will is too powerful to ignore.

This deck functioned superbly on its own, and I actually preferred solo over multiplayer games. When you add a second encounter card every round, the deck's tendency of doing everything pretty well but not any one thing extremely well came out more consistently. It's not always necessary to get Sword that was Broken when playing solo, but it becomes essential in multiplayer. I would for sure mulligan for that and a copy of Elven-light to get the engine started early.

If you get Steward, where do you put it?

I tend to put it on Denethor since he starts with such a big amount of resources early game and has the utility to move them if need be. It also makes it easier to hard cast Knight of the White Tower earlier in the game if you happen to draw one.

Right, but you can't pass the resources to any character, they have to be Gondor and if Aragorn does not have Steward than he is not considered a Gondor character. Therefore, wouldn't it be better to put it there? Especially if you got Celebrían's Stone on him, which may or may not happen since you have only one in the deck?

See, this is why you're Emperor lol. Good observation. If the deck is ever remade (deconstructed at the moment due to brainstorming) I'll have to remember that caveat. Thanks!
