The goal of "War of the Ring" decks is to win every quest that tolds facts occured during the War between Free Peoples and Sauron's forces the most thematically possible, solo or with more players/Two or more Handed.
I used this deck to beat Return to Mirkwood. This quest is very difficult in single player, especially for the high threat. Use Aragorn's ability to search your collection for Elessar and Grey Wanderer to search for Strider. Mulligan for many allies, Deep Knowledge, Thorongil, Sword that was Broken, but also for threat management cards. Use Thorongil on Aragorn and let him become Aragorn if you need threat management, Aragorn if you need willpower and Aragorn if you're engaged with many enemies. I one-shotted a Hill Troll and an Attercop, Attercop in a match with this deck. Don't commit an ally to the quest in case you're revealing Attercop, Attercop, because you can lose.
Sorry if I didn't post anything this monday but I was busy. Tomorrow I think I'm posting the hobbit deck for "Shadow of the Past", the firsst real event of The War of the Ring. Aragorn will return soon and he's going to be a Grey Wanderer again
