Try to put Faramir into play as often as possible (with Lothíriel‘s response or Prince Imrahil‘s action or even with Sneak Attack).
Play Gondorian Spearman attached with a Spear of the Citadel and kill the enemies, that Faramir damaged before.
If a Spearman would die, bring him back with Knight of Belfalas or Stand and Fight, look out for a new one (or for Faramir) with Soldier of Gondor and play him for lower cost with Man the Walls.
Try to find your weapons, armor and guarded attachments with Open the Armory and The King's Return. If a card is guarded by an enemy, Faramir can damage that enemy even more or kill it. Same works with Secret Vigil.
