doomguard 2121
this is a gloindeck without The One Ring. so no healing from the start. it is only for situations where The One Ring is used otherwise in your fellowship, or not usable (campaign).
startingatachment is Ent Draught. it cannot be played, but the contract The Grey Wanderer PUT it in and thats o.k. without ent-character.
so a startinggloin with 6 hp is not bad. this deck has 2 legs, one to get healing on gloin, the other to get expansive allies out with the help of secrecy or regulary supported by his ability.
mulligan
Timely Aid is your favourite card, if you get a song and a Rivendell Minstrel or the 2 different songs or 2 Rivendell Minstrel keep it.
build a boardstate with allies and use A Very Good Tale, Sneak Attack can be used for gandalf, or for an xpensive ally as 2. for the tale.
the full healingpower will be reached in mid-lategame, but before there is the contract. lateron heal with Song of Healing and Elven-light for free (because of glins ability)
@healing, you might say a 3-card-combo is hard to achieve, but it is more a 2-card-combo, because the minstrels help to get the missing song(s) and #elvenlight, do not need to get on your hand it can be discarded by a A Very Good Tale

Jan 31, 2023Nice deck. You could consider Captain's Wisdom to better use the contract in the crucial few rounds. Also wouldn't a copy of Strider still be useful? |
Jan 31, 2023@Strider its in the sideboard. i am not really sure what to skip for it Captain's Wisdom and We Are Not Idle are great card, but i do not want to lower the density of allies, so what to skip for? |
Jan 31, 2023when i am thinking about it, i will only in the first round have a free readying, because lateron its more usual to take ressourses and healing from the contract (so he get up to 6 and can pay every ally every round) |
What do you think of We Are Not Idle in a deck like this? If you trigger the contract in the planning phase anyway, I think it's worthwhile.
