simple straight foreward, the gondorian way!
nobles and warriors have a iteresting sideeffect, you can put together 20 allies that all are gondor, so benefit from thr discount and get a cheaper gondor-ally every round. try to get Faramir and Visionary Leadership out and you can quest like hell.
Beregond secures the defense while Denethor and Lothíriel organise everything else.
Valiant Sacrifice playable each round you use Lothíriel Legolas and perhaps some Théodwyn
mulligan for steward and/or shield
little tricks:
- Galadriel 1. round, if you do not have the stweard, she might find it
- usable with Lothíriel ability:

- Galadriel (her ability does not trigger but quest +3 is nice )

- (MotK) Théodwyn +2 wp and use ob ability

- Knight of Belfalas +1 wp and get ally back from discard
do not forget Denethors ability, with that and contract its easier to play several allies, 1 cost 3 warrior could be played 1. round

Mar 27, 2023how? silercirclett can only attached once, thats +2 wp, Visionary Leadership is +2 for denethor and #lothiriel alone, and nearly all allies are gondor, so much more than circlett. cannot understand your comment. |
Mar 27, 2023I guess that's true if you are questing with anyone. However, I doubt you are ever questing with Denethor. Knight of Belfalas, Honour Guard, Faramir, Derufin, and Morwen Steelsheen all have abilities or stats that you want to use, rather than having them quest. Visionary Leadership does provide more willpower overall. However, this deck will rarely be questing with more than two Gondorian characters. If it is, it's not running optimally. Silver Circlet was just an example to show other options. |
Mar 27, 2023either u have not understand this deck or we disgree completely.... with this coniguration, you can do what is needed. if heavy questing is needed, of course denethor and knight of belalas are questing (with visionary and a possible faramir they both quest or 3!!!!) if you have many enemys, denethor and the knight will fight. so,plz think your suggestions through before posting ;) |
I like the idea! However, I don't think there are enough good targets to justify three copies of Visionary Leadership. Silver Circlet would often do more.
