Premise
An Outlands deck very similar to my solo and mulitplayer versions with the most important change of course being the inclusion of Aragorn over Erestor.
This deck is somewhat less explosive than the Erestor versions, however you are not as reliant on an early Ethir Swordsmen (Aragorn can reset your threat after a couple of subpar quest phases) and it does not get countered as hard by some of the quests that really shut down Erestor. Being able to run A Test of Will never hurts either of course. Overall, I would place this deck only slightly below the Erestor versions in terms of power, it should still be able to defeat most quests with relative ease (outside of quests that directly counter the Outlands archetype).
How To Play
It plays like almost every Outlands deck ... look for cards that enable a quick swarm (Doomed cards, Steward of Gondor, A Very Good Tale etc.) early on. I usually play a Doomed-heavy first planning phase but there are exceptions (in mulitplayer, you often want a Doomed-heavy refresh phase with an immediate Desperate Alliance played after to prevent too much engagement pressure). As mentioned, Ethir Swordsman (while still being you most important ally of course) is not as crucial during the first two rounds since Aragorn can mitigate a bit of unsuccessful questing quite well.
Considerations
My suggestions for multiplayer:
- Desperate Alliance (2/3 copies depending on the player count) is a must
- Double Back should be added depending on scenario/preference
Peace, and Thought and Gaining Strength are nice tools if you find you are lacking resources/cards in a paticular quest.
Cards to potentially remove: Henamarth Riversong, Far-sighted), uniques overlapping with other players
