This is my first attempt at creating a deck based on using hero Beorn. It has not been thoroughly tested. Any feedback would be welcome. Also, I am building this deck with cards that I actually own.
There are 3 cards that I consider to be key. Mulligan if you do not have Vilya, Radagast, or the Wizard Pipe. With Vilya being the most important card to have.
Beorn defends/attacks
Bilbo Baggins is present mainly for the card draw and questing.
Elrond is used to quest.
The idea is to use Radagast with a Wizard Pipe to give you some control over Elrond's ability with his ring.
After that, things get interesting. Play Dori so that he can absorb damage that Beorn would take. Give him the Sword-thain so that he becomes a hero. Then the Daughter of the Nimrodel can heal him. This essentially allows you to heal Beorn. If you can manage it, give Dori a Citadel Plate and you should be good to go.
Use Radagast to buy Landroval as a "Plan B" if Beorn dies for some reason.
Give Elrond Unexpected Courage so that you can essentially buy cards for free with the Wizard Pipe.

Mar 15, 2017I'm wondering if maybe you should add some more Lore cards since two of your heroes are Lore. Possible take out Blade Mastery for some other card, such as Treebeard? Just a thought. The deck looks interesting. |
Mar 15, 2017I have made new changes. See this deck ringsdb.com |
I just realized that Elrond is not a silvan character, so Silvan Tracker is pretty useless...
