Please keep in mind that I don't own the 6 packs from the Haradrim cycle nor the Vengeance of Mordor cycle/Deluxe set.
This is a sligthly tweaked version of my previous deck, with more aggressive card draw that allows setting things up faster. I've cut a few spirit cards (spirit resource generation was sometimes not fast enough) in favour of cheap card draw and threat reduction.
-
Reforged received an errata in the Revised Ered Mithrin set (now you can play only Item attachments with it), so it limits the recycling of Woodmen's Clearing.
-
Healing Herbs got an errata in the starter decks and now it has an Item trait (for those of you who own the old printings of Dwarrowdelf cycle) - it is still recycable with new Reforged.
The idea is simple: boost Treebeard's hit points with a copy of Ent Draught and use numerous tools you have to keep him ready and healed so that you can abuse his special ability during questing and combat phases.
Arwen Undómiel and Bifur will allow you to juggle the resources for more expensive cards.
There is a ton of card draw here so you shouldn't struggle with getting key cards.
If you think that Protector of Lórien isn't really needed, feel free to swap it for Elrond's Counsel or Hasty Stroke.
Reforged will allow you to recycle some readying/healing effects even during combat. Erebor Hammersmith will also allow you to reuse Lembas, Healing Herbs and Miruvor a few more times.
If you play multiplayer, you could try using Dúnedain Cache and play it with Reforged - ranged Treebeard could be fun ;).
I usually prefer using the Treebeard ally, but this deck really surprised me with how well it plays ;). Give it a try and tell me whether it worked for you.
