Preferred Player Count: 1, (2-4)
Rating: .5
Premise
My preferred Rohan deck that attacks into the staging area for solo play. Playing it is very straight-forward - Fastred defends (being quite the defender from round 1 onwards due to Inner Strength), Éomer quests and thus also attacks (utilizing cheap weapons such as Spear of the Mark or Dagger of Westernesse), Éowyn covers early willpower (helped by cards such as Windfola or Celebrían's Stone).
From there on you should have most bases covered - questing by your heroes and later the contract, combat by Fastred/Éomer, threat by Fastred, treacheries by A Test of Will and shadow cards by Inner Strength.
How To Play
Things I like to see in my opening hand are usually fitting attachments for the challenge ahead. Depending on what you go up against, those might be tools to boost your combat capabilities or willpower-granting attachments (which is more often the case since early willpower is your main Achilles-heel). I also like to see Foe-hammer in combination with weapons to get a bit of draw going.
Considerations
Dúnedain Remedy is a decent tech card here if you deem the contract's healing to be insufficient. Dúnedain Warning is a great include if you encounter enemies with very high attacking values or are unable to play The One Ring (e.g. in saga). The Master Ring is very nice if there are particular cards in the encounter deck that you are really worried about.
Enjoy!!!

Concerning WANI ... yes, I see it as a good way to reduce your decksize for a lot of decks even without including Dwarves, making them often consistent (as long as you don't run cards like A Very Good Tale of Timely Aid that is). |
Thanks! Ive been building your decks to play for fun!
I was curious about We Are Not Idle. Is that just to draw a card for 0 cost?
