mulligan for a Hobbit Pipe to get carddraw from The Shirefolk and A Lesson in Caution and make use of Smoke Rings and Smoke and Think worth it.
exploit discount from conract to play as most free attachmens as possible, combined with A Lesson in Caution you could even get some 2 cost restricted for 0 cost.
increase willpower and defense, attack will only with Legacy Blade and sidequests in mid-lategame. with Inner Strength sam should be able to defend until then, and for safety, Frodo Baggins can use his ability.
Drinking Song and A Lesson in Caution should help to get the 5 needed restricted fast (The One Ring is the 1.)
flipping 2. turn and all go questing you have a willpower of at least 13. Fast Hitch help for extra readying with blades and sidequest you can go to attack of up to (folco +sam+engage 4+9)= 13
i would recomand to play it in multiplayer together with a fightingdeck, or one that can spare some Dagger of Westernesse
in solo perhaps some Dúnedain Mark are needed
