My take on a classic deck idea. Sam and Pippin quest (as does Merry once you he has a Fast Hitch, or early on if more willpower is needed), Sam defends, aided by a Hobbit Cloak and Staff of Lebethron, then Merry attacks with a Dagger of Westernesse or two. You may notice that Steward has been omitted, as most of the deck is cheap (since it's tri-sphere). The most important card to get in your opening hand is Tighten Our Belts - hopefully you can manage round 1 without spending a resource, then have 3 each for round 2. Defences are supplemented by Boromir and Barliman Butterbur, with Boromir and some of the other allies adding extra attack. Sneak Attack has its usual target in Gandalf, but also works for both Elrond and Beorn - the latter in particular if you find him early for a big round of attack (especially since Merry can ready him if you have more than one engaged enemy to deal with).
