This deck is part of a two-deck Fellowship used to play Fog on the Barrow-downs for the Cardboard of the Rings Quest of the Week.

The Fellowship description contains details of the quest playthrough and campaign mode information.

The most notable feature of the Fog on the Barrow-downs quest is probably ally-hating effects, especially the punishment you face if you find yourself trapped inside a Great-barrow, something that will happen at least once in the quest. There are also some Barrow-wight enemies with unpleasant effects for those engaged with them.

As a campaign deck, the hero choices were largely already made. For this quest I returned to a hero lineup of Aragorn, Éowyn and Glorfindel, who I used for the first time.

This quest is perfect for using the Forth, The Three Hunters! contract. When I last published a deck for this quest, I lamented that I didn't yet own this particular contract. But now that I do, it has shown its quality!

Not unusually, the deck is built to maximise the use of its heroes. Aragorn has built in action advantage, and I've included Armored Destrier, Onward Into Battle and Unexpected Courage. There's also a clear role for each hero, with Aragorn defending, Éowyn questing, and Glorfindel attacking, although of course they are all able to perform multiple roles well.

While this quest isn't the most well-suited to side questing, a few key ones are included. Of particular note is Keep Watch, because once defeated its effect will assist all players, even if split up into Barrows.

With hindsight the number of restricted attachments in the deck is a little on the low side for getting a timely contract flip (an issue not helped by the frequent control of a 4th hero). The number could be increased by taking out some of the less important events like Revealed in Wrath.
