Premise
A fun deck I enjoy a lot, built around the very powerful but quite hard to play event The Free Peoples. Between your heroes, you already start with 7 traits (potentially even more if you play a saga quest), with most allies here having two additional traits to bring you up to the 9. Then, you are free to play your bomb event to as long as you can see it, something made especially easy by Gather Information. I highlight the game plan and a typical first round in the following "How To Play" section.
How To Play
A typical opening round would look somewhat like this: You fetch Gather Information with Thurindir, you mulligan for Legacy of Númenor or The Seeing-stone to have the necessary resources available. You play out one of your many 2-trait allies, bringing you to 9 different traits. Everybody quests with everyone, blasting through Gather which you can then use to fetch you The Free Peoples (with other players also getting their key card). You play it, meaning everybody is then ready for combat. You the try to repeat this as often as possible (with Galadriel's Handmaiden being an easy way to recycle Free Peoples), providing bomb rounds for the whole table more often than not while having some decent stats the rest of the time.
Considerations
Northern Tracker and Warden of Healing are two allies I always like to have in reserve especially in higher player counts if you play a quest that really require them. Power of Command is aways a fun alternativ to Inner Strength but most of the time not needed due to the willpower boost of The Free Peoples. In general, the One Ring is a nice add-on but not needed at all in this deck, if someone else wants it, no problem. In 4-player-games (and sometimes even on 3-player-games), Campfire Tales and Man the Walls start to look very appealing.
Enjoy!!!
