Wandalf the Gizzard 2485
This is my first deck so I thought I'd build the first deck I played. Mulligan for steward and either sneak attack gandalf or a chump blocker. Put steward on aragorn. Turn one, quest with all three heroes. You can ready aragorn with theodred's resource (which should be done every round) and either of the others with the forest road. Then either sneak attack gandalf the spider into oblivion, or chump and kill it with your two ready heroes. Heading out, start looking for faramir and the stone. Put it on theodred. Eventually you'll have a powerful board state, but you should still be careful about advancing to stage 3. Thanks!

May 27, 2017Technically, once you start tweaking the starter deck, shouldn't you go up to 50 cards? |
May 27, 2017@Freeman Yes, that's true, but even with three cores you're still only at 48 cards. Though you could add beorn or some spirit cards. Mainly this is a rearrangement of the leadership starter deck. |
May 27, 2017I dig this, then! :) |

Honestly, with Aragorn you are probably better off running Spirit since you can cash in on Celebrían's Stone. Dropping Théodred for Éowyn gives you access to A Test of Will, Hasty Stroke, Unexpected Courage and Northern Tracker |

Wow... Good old Core Set days... Playing mono was pretty much unachievable back then; at least has the ever cheesy Sneak Attack and Steward of Gondor
