Gameplan: Keep Threat low, control enemy engagements, recur Gaffer Gamgee, chain creatures into play, ware down enemies with Bilbo Baggins ability.

Stay in secrecy and don't engage enemies until Pippin is bouncing Gaffer Gamgee every round and you have at least one Giant Bear to bite back. You can then engage enemies one at a time, dodging their attacks and using Giant Bear, and Farmer Maggot to kill them leaving you clear to optionally engage another the next round. Ideally, you want both Bears on the table before too many enemies are engaging you.

Guarded items are you friend here, as they will vastly improve your board state. Bilbo Baggins, it turns out, is a beast at clearing these out, and A Burglar Indeed! make him even better at this.

A late game Arrows from the Trees works an absolute delight, as resources stack up once all you copies of Resourceful and The Arkenstone make it out.

No surprises that this deck needs to stay at a very low threat to be viable. THe starting threat of 15 certainly helps with this, as does the x3 The Shirefolk.

Resourceful should come out ASAP. The Arkenstone is also suitable for either hero, as tehy will be questing every round. Your priority is to get +2 to Pippin's resource generation ASAP, as that will allow you to play Gaffer Gamgee every round in the mid to late game.

There are 13 cards that replace themselves when played, collapsing the effective deck size to 37. Between that and Drinking Song, this deck should reliably get going in most games.
