This deck is focused on Prince Imrahil - he can play any ally he draws with his combat ability. Mulligan for Visionary Leadership and play it on him and make sure he always has a resource when he enters combat phase.

I really wanted to make a deck where Last Stand would make sense and I think this is it. If you chump-block with e.g. Marksman of Lórien that you drew with Prince Imrahil, you'll deal 3 damage to an enemy (or more, if you happen to have multiple copies in hand). It's absolutely not a must have in this deck and in fact leaving it out for e.g. Sneak Attack would make the deck stronger, but sometimes I just want to feature a card that's otherwise staying in a binder.

A Very Good Tale works great here, because you can use it on an ally that you put into play via Prince Imrahil.

Azain Silverbeard combos great with Mablung as you will very often have this extra red resource to feed his ability.

Sideboard: Don't go below 35 allies in this deck. If you want, you can swap Last Stand for Sneak Attack (so that Háma doesn't become a totally dead card if you draw him) or you can put Feint in the deck instead, it works great with Mablung because he'll gain a resource upon engagement and you can use it to play Feint immediately.

Gandalf is here if you absolutely need threat reduction. There's none here, because it's more of a rush deck. But if you need it, feel free to include him.

Why did you put Captain's Wisdom in it instead of Steward of Gondor ? (If it goes to Denethor, it's during the Phase 1, so maybe Denethor would need to be ready for defending during the combat phase ?).

Furthermore, may Errand-rider be handy to help resources moving in this bi-sphere deck and help Imrahil to save its resources for its own ability ?

@Troglo I didn't put Steward of Gondor here for a few reasons: 1) so that you can play this deck in multiplayer where other players may use it instead (I cut Steward of Gondor whenever I can) 2) Captain's Wisdom will net you +2 resources on turn one and with Steward you will have to wait one turn to start profiting from it. And I want to have the option to play A Very Good Tale as fast as I can. You can use Steward instead if you want ;).

I had Errand rider in the early version, but It's not needed. You have Envoy of Pelargir (which will give +1 resource back if triggered via Prince Imrahil, you have Squire of Gondor). You don't really need an extra resource smoothing, Denethor will give his extra resources to Mablung and apart from the Visionary Leadership there's no key leadership card to be played. So - no reason for Errand Rider ;).
